How do I start training?
Book a free trial class. If you decide to join, the remainder of your first month’s tuition is complimentary.
What does the £50 joining fee include?
Your initial JKS membership and licence, plus a FREE official JKS karate suit and JKS hand pads.
Do I need to buy equipment before my first class?
No. Comfortable sportswear is all you need for your free trial; we’ll guide you on everything else when you join.
Do membership and licence renew separately?
Yes. JKS membership and licensing are separate from your monthly training plan and are renewed as required.
Are beginners welcome?
Absolutely. No previous karate experience or particular level of fitness is required to get started.
How do gradings work?
Students progress through the official JKS grading syllabus, with opportunities to grade as they develop.
